Just make sure that the rock formation looks as it does in the treasure map above and you’ll find the Battle Star in no time.įor everything Fortnite, keep your eyes peeled on GameRevolution. Approach the rock formation from the East, and build ramps up to its lower level. As you can see from the map above, it is to the south of Dusty Divot. Thanks to the map being leaked a good two weeks ago, fans have been able to find the location. While the map above doesn’t give all that much help, the location of its Battle Star has been found. Keep in mind that players are always running amok, especially with the new. Speak with these two characters, and the challenge will be complete. Despite being completely submerged in snow from the new iceberg biome, not much has changed here. And Rustler can be seen walking right along Shifty Shafts, which is a little north near the map’s center. Fortnite season 7 map: Shifty Shafts Shifty Shafts is in a similar position to Snobby Shores. Fortnite Shifty Shafts Treasure Map: Where is the Shifty Shafts Treasure Map Treasure? Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is now live with a new map that features 12 different POIs for players to explore. Sunbird or Moon Hawk can be found at the temple behind the Daily Bugle, northeast of the map. You can’t just find the hidden Battle Star and then quit. Remember, though, that you’ll need to finish the game for it to count. Upon completion, you’ll be awarded with ten Battle Stars. Finding the location where the map is pointing is the difficult part of this task. Waiting for you in that location will be a Battle Star (you won’t miss it). All you need to do is find where the map is pointing you. It isn’t exactly the most appealing place to look at and due to the focus on establishing a more rural-looking portion of the map, it really doesn’t draw eyes the way the Daily Bugle or Tilted Towers does. You don’t actually need to find the treasure map in Shifty Shafts in order to complete this challenge. When I think of fun and adventures, I don’t think about deserts. The biggest area may just be Chonkers Speedway and that’s really more to race on, then explore and set up a defense. While you may have some ruins of old buildings that could offer up a look, they are few and far between. If you’re like me and enjoy eliminating players from a distance, this isn’t the place for you. The highest points seem to often have the lowest visibility. You’d think with the plateaus littered throughout this portion of the map, that wouldn’t be the case, but there’s a lot of overlap, making it harder to see players who are under you. Maybe that’s how you want to play, and that’s cool, but if you’re looking for a lot of action this isn’t the area to do so. So if you do, you’re usually going to have to run a lot to find any action. Players aren’t looking to drop into this portion of the map. This isn’t a statement based on empirical data, just what I seem to notice. Never question where you should drop and lead your squad to victory. Four reasons to do away with the desert portion of the map Not as many players seem to start there A closer look at the Fortnite: Battle Royale Map and the bits and pieces that make each area so unique. Condo Canyon is a great drop-in point and Rocky Reels is usually a bottleneck of action at certain points. Rocky Reels and Condo Canyon on their own are fun. Tilted Towers is another one that has a lot going on, so does Shifty Shafts, yet the one place that I dislike playing in the most is the desert region, which includes Rocky Reels, Condo Canyon, and Chonkers Speedway. The new Sanctuary region is unique but not incredibly fun, but there are a lot around that location that is. The introduction of the snow-covered region was awesome, and the incorporation with the Christmas theme really made it feel charming. So coming into Chapter 3, I was very excited to see what would come next. As a late arrival to the franchise, only getting involved with the franchise during Chapter 2’s final stages, I became a very big fan of the more suburban approach that a lot of the maps had. I don’t mind if you disagree with me, but man, the desert portion of the Chapter 3 Fortnite map is among the worst things that this new chapter has to offer. Fortnite should do away with the desert portion of the map.
